UEFA Europa League - 17:00 UK Time - SL Benfica v Hertha Berlin

Well, i think there's really no doubt about the winner in this game. Hertha just had less than 48 hours after their last game on Sunday, to prepare and recover fiscally to this game. They don't look very strong when they play away from their home. Benfica had a day off this week in the Portuguese competition, and had 1 week to make themselves ready to this game. Aimar is back on the midfield, Maxi comes in again as the right back, and i do believe that the team will look to score from the first minute.

Liga Sagres - 20:15 UK Time - FC Porto v SC Braga

This is going to be a really amazing game! Porto can't afford to lose again, or they will be without any chance to win be Champions, and they can be out of the Champions League next year as well. It's a must win game, and they know that. Braga is not under that kind of pressure, or at least, they don't look like. They say that each game is a different game, and that they are not contenders to the Championship.
I can see a huge fight on that midfield, with Porto starting the game really powerfully, and Braga trying to sneak in with some counter attack's.

Premier League - 15:00 UK Time - Man City v Liverpool

Man City likes to play against the so called Big teams in the Premier. At home, the are very strong, and it's always nice to see them playing. Liverpool is kinda strange right now, they don't show much consistency, and the team doesn't act like a team very often.
I think that City can make a huge result here in their own benefit, certainly they look better and the home factor could prove to be to strong.

21/02 Pick:
Man City to win @ 2.50

Premier League - 12:45 UK Time - Everton FC v Man United

Well, Everton is playing really well, they made a great match against Liverpool (0-1) and even better against Chelsea (2-1). They are feeling very confident, and even when they are behind the opposite team, they don't loose their head, and keep the game plan. United just made a great game in Milan, and most probably are going to start this game with the same speed. Rooney is experiencing a great form right now, and even when they fail to score, there's always a own goal to help them this season! I think is going to be a really fast paced game, with either team looking for the win.

UEFA Europa League - 20:05 UK Time - Hertha Berlin v Benfica

Another game were i think the price offered is very strange.
Hertha is a team that is showing lots of difficulties this year, either home or away. They are coming from their 4 game without a win in their domestic league. It's a team that doesn't have any confidence on themselves, and can barely manage to score a goal. The game plan on the last few games is one, and just one: Defend. The team knows that they don't have quality to do better right now, and they are struggling to run away from the last spot in their league.
On the other side, is a team that share's the first place in their domestic league with Braga, and they look very healthy. The attack is very fast, with Di Maria and Ramirez on the wings, Aimar on the middle supporting Saviola and Cardozo. On top of that, the right-back and the left-back like to go up on the pitch, making them a very powerful and fast team. The defence is pretty strong as well, with Luisao controlling the defence. But what makes them really good on the back, is that they all fight back for the ball, wining lots of fights yet on the opposite midfield, producing then, mortifier and very fast counter attacks. I think that Benfica will win this game quite easily.

18/02 Pick:
Benfica @ 2.06

Final Score: 1-1, Lost

UEFA Europa League - 18:00 UK Time - Ajax v Juventus

Well, i think it's kinda strange the prices we have here for this game! Ajax is flying right now, with 11 goals scored in their last 5 games in the domestic league, and just 1 goal against! They are very strong on the front, and the midfield is doing a great job, either defending or supporting the attack. They lack a little bit of experience in this type of competition i think, but with the first leg being played at home, i think they can keep their exhibition level pretty high against a team that is struggling right now. Juventus was 5 games without a win, until the 3-2 win against Genoa last weekend. They look a bit lost, and not very consistent. They do have great players, with loads of experience, but they always lack of creativity on the last third of the pitch and the team doesn't seems to be motivated.
I do believe that they will come to this game with one thing in mind, the 0-0 draw. The defence is quite strong, a bit tipsy sometimes, but on the end, they do their job.

18/02 Pick:
Ajax +0 @ 1.87

UEFA Champions League - 19:45 UK Time - FC Porto v Arsenal

Both teams are not playing the best football of the season, and their hopes in the domestic league championship are getting kinda low.
Porto is probably going to try to score early, as they definably need to win this game to have any hopes on going to the next round, but Arsenal is a very smart team, and their manager got loads of experience on this kind of games, and will probably aim for fast counters, conceding the possession of the ball to the home team. We could have a very open and wide game here.

17/08 Pick:
Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.20

UEFA Europa League - 17:45 UK Time - Everton FC v Sporting CP

Everton is playing better and better on their last few games. Made a great game against Liverpool, 1-0 defeat but a great exhibition, followed by a 2-1 victory home against Chelsea! The team is feeling confident, and playing some decent football, even Saha is back on the Score sheet!
On the other side of the pitch, will be Sporting CP, that is going trough some hard times, already without a victory in the last 5 games, with only one point taken. 2 home defeats and 2 away defeats, with a total of 12 goals against. They are very fragile in the defence, maybe because they are to young and lack of experience. On the front, Liedson is the man, he's the one that Sporting followers expect to save them from this black hole they are on right now.
Well, it's very hard to imagine Sporting bouncing back from the negative moment they are feeling, and against a team that is playing is best football of the season right now, will become even harder. They are very young, and UEFA matches can make them feel small and afraid of the opposite team. I believe they will try to play for the 0-0 draw, but will have to show something more if the first goal goes in early, making them even more fragile on the defence.

16/02 Pick:
Everton -1 AH @ 2.09

Final Score: 2-1, Void, +0

Champions League - 19:45 UK Time - Lyon v Real Madrid

Lyon is not as strong as he used to be. Made a couple of great seasons on the Champions, but this year, is not showing much, occupying the fourth place in their league, and already out of the French Cup and League Cup. Their last game was against Lens, and once again, they've showed loads of difficulties to beat the away team.
On the other side will be a team that got talent all over the place. Real Madrid is coming from (another ) 3-0 victory away against Xerez. Ronaldo is back on the pitch after 2 games suspension, and didn't needed much time to show that he's back, scoring twice on that same game. Benzema is fit again, and together with Kaka, Ronaldo and Higuain, they have the speed and magic skills to solve a game by themselves.
Well, i think that right now, Real Madrid is playing a lot better than Lyon, they had a boost of morale yesterday with the 2-1 defeat of arch-rivals Barcelona, and they are aiming high on this competition, after going on a spending spree on the summer.

16/02 Pick:
Real Madrid @ 2.10

Final Score: 1-0, Lost

UEFA Champions League - 19:45 UK Time - AC Milan v Man Utd

Great match we have here, it could easily been the Champions Final.
Milan is coming to this game after a win, they've snapped a four-game winless run last Friday, 3-2 victory over Udinese. Pato is fit again, and together with Ronaldinho, will certainly bring some decent speed and creativity to the Milan attack. Huntelaar scored 2 on his last game, and it will be looking for a few more in this first leg. Beckham is fit and available, but its not 100% sure that he will be on the first eleven.
Rooney is performing really well on is last few games, and Milan will have extra attention to him, looking for is first Champions League goal this season. Vidic, Giggs, Anderson, they will all be out of this game.
Milan is a traditional Italian team, they are great when the business is to defend, and are masters on the counter attack, with Pato/Ronaldinho their best mates to accomplish that. United always feels extreme difficulties when they play in Italy, and they are still without a win in their last 4 games versus Milan.
Well, i think that Milan has the stuff to beat United in this game, they are kinda slow and aggressive on the defence, and that should prove fatal to United if they don't watch Ronaldinho and Pato really closely. Any kind of set piece will be very dangerous, but i'll expected they will be wary of that. United will hope that Rooney can use is superb form to snatch a away goal, that could prove to be very important.

16/02 Pick:
AC Milan DNB @ 2.02

Final Score: 2-3, Lost
